My Experience With The Contraceptive Implant

The Contraceptive Implant

If you've clicked on this post of mine then you probably already know what a contraceptive implant is and how it works and all that technical stuff, so I won't be going into that. However, if you don't know then you can do research online as there are many sites which explains this contraception and how it works and may answer any questions you have.

To put it simply though, it is a thin plastic implant that is inserted into your forearm and it stops you from becoming pregnant. Well, 99% of the time anyway but maybe we'd get into that later.

Korean Beauty Haul | Mini Review

So in the last couple of months, I made a few purchases on Korean beauty cosmetics and skin care products. I have been meaning to get around to blogging about it but there was never the time. Anyway, let's get right to it!

This is from the latest buys. From left to right:

ETUDE HOUSE Miniature - Moistfull Collagen Sleeping Pack 30ml ($3.90/£2.64)

Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream 45ml  ($5.56/£3.76)

Lioele Triple The Solution BB Cream Foundation 50ml

LIOELE Multi Seaweed Gel 100g $12.50/£8.48

Mizon Good Night White Sleeping Mask 80ml

For most of it, I haven't used them enough to really give a full review. Some of these I haven't even opened bur since I did state this to be a mini review I will try to give at least a sentence on my opinion.

DIY 'Open When...' Letters

I should quickly say that this isn't a tutorial and I don't really think I am pro enough to be guiding people on how to do something like this. I simple wanted to do a quick blog post about this little handmade gift I made for Hai.

You all have most likely seen these flying around the web. I got the idea from a twitter post actually and thought it was such a cute idea. If you and your significant other are in a long distance relationship or you don't get the chance to see each other often then this gift will be perfect for you.

I didn't want to just do a simple design like the ones I saw (with block coloured pieces of paper and simple written signs on them). I wanted to make it a little bit more personal and add some more effort into them.

Dinner Date | First Time at Zizzi

For the longest time, Hai has always raved about how good Zizzi was and how much he loved it. I have also been craving Italian food for a while so our little dinner date on Sunday was real satisfying,

Hai said Zizzi was 'small portioned and expensive' but I thought otherwise when I was there!

Photos from website. Not mine.

HAUL - Topshop, Victoria Secret, ASOS, Zara & Boohoo

For boxing day I went through a huge splurge and today all of my purchases arrived! I didn't want to do this post until I got all the products together, that's why it took so long.
I will post the photos and a brief description of it all and may do a few reviews later if needed or requested.

Zara

This is my first time ordering from Zara online and I am so impressed with their packaging! I think I've mentioned before how I think it's a big plus when companies send them in cardboard boxes rather than bags.

Christmas Card From Korea!

I am, and have been since 2011, in this private group called FCM and we all keep in touch and communicate to each other on a regular basis. For Christmas, one of our members came up with the idea of posting Christmas cards to all of us and I loved the idea of receiving one so I signed up straight away!

Why I don't want to be happy

With it now being 2015, there are a few new years resolutions popping up (though I must say I am seeing more people complaining about other people making resolutions rather than people actually making resolutions) and the most popular one seems to be the pursuit of happiness.

I mean, there's nothing wrong with wanting to not be miserable and to enjoy life in general but I feel like it's such a - excuse me - lazy resolution.  Let's face it, being 'happy' is unrealistic and, dare I say, overrated. I feel like I am going to get a lot of crap for this but keep on reading.
