Korean Beauty Haul | Mini Review

So in the last couple of months, I made a few purchases on Korean beauty cosmetics and skin care products. I have been meaning to get around to blogging about it but there was never the time. Anyway, let's get right to it!

This is from the latest buys. From left to right:

ETUDE HOUSE Miniature - Moistfull Collagen Sleeping Pack 30ml ($3.90/£2.64)

Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream 45ml  ($5.56/£3.76)

Lioele Triple The Solution BB Cream Foundation 50ml

LIOELE Multi Seaweed Gel 100g $12.50/£8.48

Mizon Good Night White Sleeping Mask 80ml

For most of it, I haven't used them enough to really give a full review. Some of these I haven't even opened bur since I did state this to be a mini review I will try to give at least a sentence on my opinion.

Liole BB cream

Such a simple packaging but I found the pink and gold super pretty.

The first time I used this was when I got a free sample from my last purchase and I decided I really needed to have more of it. I didn't fall in love with it exactly but it was a nice BB cream. My verdict is that it has a very nice aroma to it and pretty full coverage. However, since I am on the darker side, this didn't look as good on me as I hoped. I even contemplated going back into the bathroom to wash it all off and put on my trusty Fit Me foundation aha. After a couple of minutes, I guess it either started to oxidise and matched my skin tone more or I just got used to it a.

It made my skin super flawless looking but I wasn't particularly breaking out or had major blemishes I needed to cover. I did have one acne scar on my cheek that was bothering me and it helped in covering it well. I'd say this is a good BB cream if you're looking for alternatives for foundation but still like the full coverage look.

I am a bit wary of any foundation or skin make-up that has any kind of scent to it though as the perfume ingredients in it can cause irritation and cause breakouts. Like the Dior foundation smells super pretty and has full coverage but the smell is just too strong for me to feel comfortable putting it onto my skin.

Lioele Seaweed Gel

This item is supposedly supposed to be able to act as a toner, moisturiser, and sleeping mask all in one. However, I used this a number of times in a week and I didn't touch it again because it was so disappointing. It wasn't very moisturising at all and it's way too thick to use as a toner.

You know when you wash your face and you leave it to air dry it has that tightness and very desert-like dryness? Using this was what it felt like, I couldn't just use this by itself and always had to put on another product on top.

Mizon Good Night White Sleeping Pack

All the description on this box and on the eBay page was in Korean so I can't give you much info on it. I can say that I would not be making this purchase again as I didn't like it at all. I've used a few sleeping masks before in my time and what I like about them is that I wake up with my skin feeling super bouncy, plump and hydrated. With this one, I would just wake up and my skin felt like I went to bed without moisturising my face.

Mizon Snail Recovery Gel

Everything in Korean as usual
Whilst browsing for Korean beauty products, I have stumbled across a number of snail gel products and it really intrigued me on it. I bought a snail gel eye cream before and it seemed to do the job so I thought I should give this one a try.

For £3 I just thought, "why not?"

It's not great. The consistency of it is very smooth and applies very well but it doesn't hydrate very well.

Freebies!

In the photo above are all the freebies that came with my purchase. This is one of my favourite things about making a purchase from Korea.

Clearly, I purged.

Real Nature Mask Sheet Blueberry & Lemon 23g (10Sheets)

I had used a few of the masks before taking photos so there's a few missing.

Sorry for the fact that I am clearly in my PJs still and also in my bathroom. My time schedule was very backwards and the only time I had the chance to take photos were at night and my bathroom was the only place with decent lighting.

I bought these a while back so the listing isn't there anymore. I got these for a little over £6 but if you search it up online now it's on sale for like £11!

Description: A brightening mask sheet containing fresh lemon extract to brighten dull skin while maintaining its translucence.

Description: A highly nourishing mask sheet containing blueberry extract to help regain skin softness and youthful impression.

Rice & Ceramide Moisture Toner 150ml

Favourite toner ever. Rice water is supposed to be really good for your skin so I'm trusting that. I'm still using this today and it hasn't even gone down halfway yet (have had this since November).

Missha Creamy Latte Chocolate Cleansing Foam

A really big product!

Everything in Korean as usual.
I have to admit, I only bought this because it was such a big item for a small price (£4.23) so even though I didn't really like it that much.

It really smells like chocolate it's insane.  Maybe that's why I'm not that comfortable putting it on my face. The product comes out looking kind of like rose gold with a mixture of rust.

Mizon Snail Repair Eye Cream

This is the eye cream that I talked briefly about earlier. It is the first eye cream I've ever tried. Since I feel like I am getting old, I thought I should start using eye cream.  This was £5 so I went and got it. the consistency is just like any other cream moisturiser.

Freebies!

Tried all of these and loved them all besides the laser aid bb cream. That green tea essence did something amazing to my skin I swear, I woke up the next day and my skin was so plump and flawless looking!

The skin food's facial water is also extremely hydrating but I can't seem to find the full sized product online :(

More masks!

10 more masks! Cucumber and more blueberry.

Description: A deeply hydrating mask sheet containing cucumber extract to fill the skin with cool hydrating minerals.

The reason why I went and purchased more was not that I really liked them but because my mum tried one of mine and really liked them. These were the first sheet masks I've tried so I didn't have much to compare it to. However, recently I made a purchase of a tony moly mask and fell in love and realised these masks do not fit very well and the results weren't all that amazing.

I think I'll be staying away from spending money on beauty products for a while after this as they should be lasting me a while!
