Boux Avenue Black Friday Haul

source: anoushkaloves

One of the most exciting things about winter is stocking up on fleece pyjamas and fuzzy slippers to keep those toes warm! I remember, as a kid, I used to receive lots of packs of warm-fleece pyjamas from uncles and aunties during Christmas time and hating it. Now, it's all I ever want!

I'm moving soon (exciting announcement soon to come!) which will be the 3rd time moving for me since June alone, however it will be the first time where bills aren't included so I'll have to conserve the heat a little bit more during the colder days. I've always preferred being drowned in warm blankets and a hot mug of coffee in a cold room rather than having the heater blasting, so I set out on a quest to get myself some winter survival kit.

Boux Avenue is doing a Black Friday deal offering 25% site wide and 50% on selected nightwear and lingerie so I thought there was no better time to make my winter survival kit purchase. Plus, Topcashback was offering a 10% cashback on top of the deal!

Unfortunately, the photos I've taken aren't very good nor do I have many as I am between places right now so I'm currently in an adjustment period.

Winnie waffle robe

Never really had a dressing gown, but as a lover of lounging weekends, I knew this would be something handy to have. It is the softest and comfiest thing I have ever owed. This is the first time I have bought from Boux Avenue and I am thoroughly impressed with the exceptional quality of it.

It had a folded style stitched sleeves but still covers my hands so I have sweater paws. The belt has pom poms at the end - super cute! Only downside to this is that it is white so I can't wear it whilst eating noodles or pasta. I also have not put it in the wash yet so I don't know how well it will hold its shape but so far it's a 10/10.

RRP £45

Owl minky fleece pants

Cuffed fleece pants, I didn't realise how warm these were until I had one of my own. They're cuffed on your ankles and waist so they're super good at blocking air out (Ash said they're fart traps lol).

RRP £28

Price paid: £14

Bunny booties

Bunny slippers! These are the cutest thing and does the job of keeping my toes warm. Was a little hesitant at first, wondering if it was too OTT or tacky but in the end I went for it anyway and yano, no regrets! It has little round bunny tails at the back and pink noses and I love them.

The strange thing about these is that no matter which foot you put them in you always feel like you have it on the wrong way round.

RRP £20

Price paid: £15

Chloe lace plunge bra

Copper bra! Stored this away somewhere before I snapped a piccy so must use their photo! It's hard to find bras that fit and are comfortable and, as I've been wearing the same two bras on rotations for a while, I thought I might as well.

RRP £26

Price paid: £13

All in all a good small haul! This is a little smaller of a haul compared to what I used to do, think I perhaps have mellowed a little as I got older aha.

So, the RRP of this would have been £119 but we paid £64.50 . Plus the 10% cashback, we will be getting £6.45 back!
